First Adventures cares about your privacy. We therefore only process data which we need for (the improvement of) our services and we will carefully handle the information which we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services of First Adventures on it. The effective date for the validity of these conditions is 05/04/2021, with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, where this information is used and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you have provided us with.

Webshop software Shopify
Our shop is developed with software from Shopify. Personal data that you make available to us for our services are shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is on the basis of the agreement we have with them obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card information. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and / or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve services. Shopify takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. MijnDomein Web Hosting
We obtain web hosting and email services from MijnDomein. MijnDomein processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. MijnDomein has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. MijnDomein is bound by agreement to secrecy. E-mail and mailing lists For our regular business e-mail traffic we use the services of . This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment processors Shopify Payments
For handling (part of) the payments in our shop we use the platform of Shopify. Shopify processes your name, address and residence data and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Shopify has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shopify reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and as part of this to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), Shopify shares personal data and information relating to your financial position with credit rating agencies. All of the above safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Shopify's services for which they engage third parties. Shopify will not retain your data for longer than permitted by law.
Reviews
Shipping and logistics with PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PostNL for carrying out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence data with PostNL. PostNL will only use this data for the performance of the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
Invoicing and bookkeeping with MoneyMonk
We use the services of MoneyMonk for our administration and bookkeeping. We share your name, address and place of residence details and details relating to your order. This data is used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data are transmitted and stored in a protected way, MoneyMonk has taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised use. General purpose of the processing
We use your data exclusively for the purposes of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you have given us. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced as a result of your instructions.

If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address provided that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
